Be aware that we have taken a few telephone calls lately involving males being fraudulently scammed out of $5,000.00 AUD and upwards from overseas contacts through marriage agency scams.

It is highly likely if you are asked for money to pay for an air flight ticket to help a person into the country, there is fraudulent intent behind the request. It is a common practice of overseas marriage scamming.
